Had an amazing experience. The restaurant is located close to the parliament in a quiet area. Inside the space is decorated in a retro/vintage aesthetic which was cool. Staff and personal were super nice and welcoming with service being quick. We ordered the chicken paprikash and beef stew in a red wine – absolutely amazing, portions were great and flavouring was superb. This is definitely the place to go for some authentic hungarian cuisine. A fabulous experience and would recommend!!!

The young male employee welcomes you so warmly that you feel like a regular customer every day. I stumbled upon it by chance while passing by. I tried the Goulash soup (Gulyasleves), which contains diced beef, carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, and red chili powder – a real health boost! It was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. If you want to enjoy a bowl of warm soup in a friendly atmosphere, I definitely recommend trying this place. They also have other dishes, desserts, and drinks available.

We had such a wonderful time here! First night in Budapest and just stumbled upon this restaurant. Neither myself nor my boyfriend have ever eaten Hungarian, and now that we have, I don’t know how we’ll eat anything else ever again! It was delightful! The atmosphere was wonderful, the people working were phenomenal, and the food, oh the food! I ordered the chicken paprikash & dumplings, my boyfriend ordered the beef stew & dumplings. The chicken melted in my mouth it was so tender. The cucumber salad was also amazing. I don’t know if I’ll ever get the absolute pleasure of being in Hungary ever again, but I can tell you this place set the tone for a great trip. Very friendly folks and wonderful food!
